City Lions Tv has been a huge staple of the Cairns City Lions Australian Football Club for the last 4 seasons. It was launched on the Cairns City Lions Facebook page way back in 2018. But in Season 2023 City Lions Tv will be put on hold due to a number of reasons.
Mark Graham of MarkyG Enterprises, the Producer, Host, and Camera Operator behind the show said, “Due to work commitments, and other projects that are coming into MarkyG Enterprises we have not been able to fully commit to this season”. Although attempts will be made to re-launch the show in a bigger and better way in Season 2024. We will keep a close eye on that.
City Lions Tv featured interviews with players from within the Cairns City Lions. Further to this, the show had some pretty monumental interviews such as Gavin Wanganeen, Ashton Hams, and Eddie Sansbury, just to name a few Ex-AFL players that have been on the show. But amongst these superstars, the show was about helping the young kids who are coming through and building their confidence in being interviewed and in front of the camera.
“Although life does get in the way of such an amazing project, we are really looking forward to bringing back the program in 2024”, Mark Graham said. You can still re-live the episodes on our YouTube channel. MarkyG Enterprises is still uploading the back catalogue of all 4 seasons.
